Welcome on my blog! First of all I would like to sorry for my English. I’ll try and do my best to write as simple as I can. What the blog will be about? Currently I’m playing NL100-200 FR, and I will try to show you my way to mid-stakes. Interesting spots, discussions about elements of gameflow, some music and funny pics that is what you will find here What are my expectations? Like ... (continued)
God I am so fucking pissed! (good way to start a blog) I just wrote down my whole life and then hit “save settings” (for the blog) and everything was gone. So here we go again: Hello readers, my name is Christian I am 25 years old and I study psychology. I started playing poker in 2006 with 50$ from another coaching site. Like most players I started with FL at that time and gri ... (continued)
sup guys, I guess the title is self-explanatory. I’m downswinging quite nicely at the moment. Interestingly enough, it has really not affected my game or mood. Having 40BIs and being immune to tilt also helps. I’ll post some hands where I probably made some bad decisions, I appriciate any comments: 1. vs good reg, I don’t see any point in raising flop\turn: UTG: $152.55 MP: $139.80 CO: $238.90 H ... (continued)
So my first month in NL100. Very interesting, shud have played more. However since there is more money involved Im feeling lot more motivated, both to play and study. Im slowly getting used to more aggressive games, so far have seen only couple very good players, most TAGs seems to do right things, but then they suddenly go berserk and start to spew money around. Also plent ... (continued)
I got my H1N1 vaccine a couple of days ago. A well spent $25 imo. However, I’m having side effects that tilt the fuck out of me. My throat is soar like fuck, and it sucks because I can’t scream or sing at all. I think my lymph nodes are swollen or something. My arm is pretty soar too. The night after I had gotten the vaccine, I couldn’t lay on my arm because it hurt so much. I think ... (continued)
Got up at 12:00, and had breakfast, showered etc and watched a video. Went to band practice at 14:30. Got home at 20:00 or so. Had dinner and watched a video. Played an MTT . Got it in with 60 % equity one time, 80 % another time, and 75 % another. Lost all of them. Got it in with AKs vs. JJ and flopped overs + flushdraw and missed. Bart wanted to rail, so I fired up some NL100 and grinde ... (continued)
I’ve been looking at my game lately, and how I’ve played in the last 2 months. I’ve compared it to how I’ve played previously to how I’ve played lately, and something hit me. I’ve been playing outside of my natural game. What I mean by natural game is that I’ve been doing something at the tables that I can’t identify 100 % with. I’ve been trying to play like someone else, and not like ... (continued)
www.donkfestpoker.com / www.6max.nl I think I’ve made a tremendous amount of progress over the past week pretty much studying the game all day long, because I have nothing else to do since I’m waiting for DC to get me tracked on Unibet. My progress pretty much evolves around my postflop skills. And I want to go over two conecpts, which I’ve learned by watching alot of videos ... (continued)
Look out! There’s a new player in town! … or atleast at the tables. “Quest for Greatness†pretty much describes me trying to move up in stakes as high as I can. I will use this blog to share my experiences as well as my progress in poker and also life in general. I’m also blogging on www.donkfestpoker.com / www.6max.nl with Acombfosho from DC. You might wanna check it out. Maybe I s ... (continued)
