Leave the casino and go study poker, in particular understanding variance/probability and how you play ranges, not hands.
Thanks for replies.................I was folding for sure............I would get hands like 73, K2, 27.........IT SUCKED!!!!lol....... Mitch could you lead to me to a source to study variance and probablity and how to play ranges????
I would play hands in late positon such as connectors and hands like K7,A2, or 23 suited... But in early position fold K7, 23 off, A2
I just bring a defibrillator and an intravenous kit with me.
Sucks that I have to wear a hoodie and sunglasses so I don't feel the weight of everyone's eyes judging me, though.
Ya..........LOL.........to bad i didnt think about that before i was there

Keep folding, especially if the game is very passive with many limpers.
I'm always amazed in 1/2 live games how you can fold for hours, but still get called when you finally put a lot of money in the pot ...
@moderator : please move to a more suited sub-forum
ya thats exactly what happened........ how do i switch to a subforum??
Practice folding better and quitting well.
For example, you haven't got a good hand in several hours and are becoming very antsy so quit. Thats quitting well.
alright ive got to learn to do that.........Thanks
I've gone card dead plenty of times in the casino. It happens and when it does you can't force the action. So instead I usually walk away. Grab lunch or dinner, relax, have a shot at the bar and then jump back on the wait list. If I sit at the table losing money I begin to tilt. I like to think that as long as I'm not losing money then the money I hold onto is the same as making money.
being card dead for 3 hours then only playing 2 hands, then folding both on flop cuz spot was not good = lost $30 in 3 hours.
Massive win, how many other people do you think can get away with only losing $30 there?
if your losing sessions are just you blinding away and whiffing flops, and winning sessions are stacking people playing with junk, poker is easy
I just start drinking- makes the time go by faster.
