Hi, I'm a new member of DC and am hoping you guys can answer a question for me. I've been playing for a while but only recently been taking poker seriously. After joining I've realised apart from position and a few other ideas I'm pretty much clueless - something I hope DC will resolve!
I have HM and was wondering what sample size I should have before seriously reviewing my play? I'm playing mainly 2NL & 5NL at Tilt and Stars.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

You only need one hand to start seriously reviewing your play.
If you are talking about stats, and how many hands it takes for them to converge, that depends on how many hands you have played. Some stats, like VPIP and PFR, will only take a few hands (maybe 1000?), others like 4 bet% may take a lot longer.

Thanks SCS, I had read you need something like 100,000 hands to really see how you're running truly so was curious. Out of interest what stats would you recommend for a newbie to use on the HUD at 2NL & 5NL?

Go here: ev++. Go to poker tools and mess around with their tools to give you some idea about sample size and how it pertains to winrates.
For HUD, I would recommend VPIP, PFR, 3bet%, fold to 3bet%, flop cbet%, fold to flop cbet%, steal%, and fold to steal%
