All right, wasn't trying to bash you. Looks like great information, but I just tend to always double-check things related to science and such.

cool stuff. It's a bit like listening to a BF Skinner lecture series at Harvard circa 1930. Think: radical behaviorism and operant conditioning before the neurophysiology was mature in peoples' minds.
The techniques do work (or so I believe).
Think of cortisol as anti-insulin. Insulin drives glucose out of the blood stream. Cortisol liberates glucose into the blood stream. The cool thing is that the brain can only use glucose as an energy source. It can't breakdown complex carbs or nothin'. It's primal and purely dependent on sugar. Re diabetes, high blood sugar will kill you in thirty years. Low blood sugar will take you out in 10 minutes.
I forgot what my point was.
For one that has suffered from moderate anxiety, this information will be really helpful at the table. Thanks.
Glad I could be of assistance!!
ANy questions, just fire them at me and good luck with the anxiety!!
Hey
Just want to add my 2 cents here...- i met jamie on my vegas trip and he is a really layed back guy who seems to be intelligent and knows what he is talking about what i can say from the time we talked there
the videos on his website can definitly help ANY pokerplayer on the tables and also away from them, i guess even help any non-poker-player to handle things like success/failures. to bring the best possible performance that you are individually able to achieve in your head FROM the head TO the table, to cross a lot ofs people´s common problem of being a very good poster but a mediocre player
absolutely recommend d2d
cheers
Thanks ambtndplyr, greatly appreciate the kind words & look forward to catching up at next years WSOP!!
Great article.^^
Only 1 point:
To stretch a little bit the muscles should not be enough to make the brain release endorphines.
When I remember right, that need some time and will not happen from the 1st second making some physical exercises.
