for several hours now i have a few comments to make on this video. Due to (i guess) technical problems that was not possible until now.

Now I have to leave my house so my specific comments will have to wait.

All I say now is:

Great series from the first episode on. Keep it up Joe.

Love the series Joe,
Excellent video and a very insightful discussion you guys are having.
Will watch this one a 2nd time for sure. As I am trying to make the conversion from LHE - NL I love to hear your thoughts about a limit player's perspective on NL games.
I find myself in thin river value bet situations (too?) often heh. I just love getting called - even if they call and win I still feel as if I just won the hand for some reason Wink
Chaostracize, it was great hearing your ideas and instructions in this Video.
Thanks to both of you.

Personally, I didn't like it too much. It's ok and there's certainly nothing wrong with it but it was just kinda basic... The only thing that I thought was interesting and made me think about it was the AQ hand where hero was in the big blind... there was an UTG limper and then a raise from MP. Chaostracize actually mentioned folding the AQ from the blind and briefly discussed why calling is not ideal. But aside from that, I didn't feel like I got anything new out of it. Nonetheless though, I love the detailed discussions so just because I felt that it didn't benefit me much doesn't mean it's not a great video. Like anything else, personal preference right?

Yep np there. It is not a video for your level. LNC was meant to be a above beginner, but not advanced, add the "why?" to a lot of hands, add the questions a lot of SS players are afraid to ask, showcase our awesome team, and have some fun while doing it.

You may like the DogIsHead video for LNC, he gets involved pretty deep. Thanks for the open mind and the feedback. And thanks to Josh for joining me on this, it was awesome, I learned a ton.

i thought it was a good video, but i love this format the best also(replayer discussions)
only issue i had was that i thought 100 hands was too small to take notice of aggression factor..

This kind of video would be a lot better if you used the Hold'em Manager replayer so the HUD could be overlayed. You can also put a DC skin on it now if you want.

At one point Chaos says 54/14/2 is a low aggression factor. I don't think that is the case. He is going to have junk most of the time playing 54% of hands so he will be bluffing a lot.

The problem would be that I do not have the database of the students on my computer. I host the video production and the HHs are loaded up into the replayer.

Why we can't call the flop on the first hand ?
If has QJ,KQ he can fold to our shove, if he has a draw he will probably shove any turn, we can safely fold on a diamond or 9 turn facing a bet.
The only reason you give it's because the turn will be hard to play, but we don't play to avoid tough decision but to maximize EV, isn't it ?

I agree here. While there may be a subtle difference in EV from a call, fold, or jam I very much disagree that we have a raise or fold spot. Yes, we will have to play some poker and make good decisions on the turn but there will also be a massive equity shift on any card that is below an 8 and not a diamond. Calling here is completely fine and may very well be the best play. I guess the basic idea is that when faced with a reasonable opponent (of course we don't really know that but for now lets assume) then we should try and avoid getting it in where the only two likely outcomes are that we are big dog against a made hand or against a huge equity draw that has close to 50% equity and sometimes more than that against our holding.
