Hi DC,
I am driving my self mad with hands like TT,JJ, AQs pre flop by over playing them, i cant stop, i need help with this, the problem comes when vs regs and I 3 bet from the blinds and they 4 bet i shove and walk in to tops of ranges a ton, i feel like flatting and playing OOP is weak but given the amount i am down by 3/5 bet shoving i think it may be the way to go from now on.
any advice on this area of pre flop would help me a ton as i just cant seem to get it under control.
we are talking about 25nl 6 max NL.
my thoughts from experience now are that 4 bets at 25nl are 70% nut hands and 30% bluffs from regs so it seems a waist to 3 bet fold but it seems so weak CH folding OOP when over cards flop.
again any help would be great.
Thanks Jacob.

It definitely depends a lot on positions. It's very rare that you can 3bet/5bet these hands vs someone in early position. You shouldn't hesitate to flat them just because it feels weak. Also, just because you don't have top pair on the flop, doesn't mean you always have to check/fold.

Ask yourself why your 3 betting those hands in the first place...Its pretty wasteful to 3 bet those hands if villain is never calling with worse and has a 4 bet strategy weighted towards nutted hands. What if hes always folding to 3 bets also, wasteful also to have thos hands in there.
you should have a 3 bet strategy tailored to your opponent.
Flatting is prob way more profitable in your situation, as long as your not playing fit or fold post-flop.Find out how villain plays post-flop.Is he opening the BTN wide is he c-betting his whole range. Is he folding to 3 bets pre-flop or calling a ton of them.
