I think I should have went 4x preflop, but not sure about the rest. On one hands, he's never folding any J to any less than pot size, and on the other, if I go a bit bigger, he many fold AT/66. Opinions?

its always hard to say if we've missed value in our bet sizing vrs this kind of player. its possible that betting slightly more on turn or river would enduce a fold.
i've always believed that, if we manage to get 3 streets of value, not matter how big, is likely about all we'd have got anyway.

You're wrong with this one. Difference in betsizing could make a huge impact on your winrate. Let's assume villain has J9 in this hand and decides to call down no matter what:
As played final pot was $7,65
Betting just slightly more on the flop - 0,65 instead of 0,50 you can increase further bets to get:
Flop: ($0.75) Q
Q
J
(2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.65, BB calls $0.65
Turn: ($2.05) 4
(2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.50, BB calls $1.50
River: ($5.05) 3
(2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3.30, BB calls $3.29 and is all-in.
Suddenly there is $11,64 pot! That's huge difference.

You raise more than 2x preflop bc. there is a fish in the bb? Otherwise i would always go for 2-2.5x, but it depends on how loose you open on the btn, if you solely play valuepoker 3x is fine obv, but it will hurt your winrate if u move up.
I think the flopbetsizing is fine, as you should be comfortable with your hand and want to keep him in the pot with worse hands. On Turn and river you should bet bigger for value.
