so villain opens/4b UTG (villain 44/13 only 32 hands)
so he min 4b so i decided to call
i was planning to play verry fit or fold because a villain opening/4b UTG has like a super super strong range right ?
so i totaly whiff the flop and decide to fold vs his potsize bet
do you guys think 5b is ever +ev here (i think there only gonna continue with KK+)
do you guys ever fold ? close to impossible given the odds and the fact we are IP right ?
i sometimes flat AKo here ip but vs a 44/13 i really couldnt
any thoughts ?

really depends if you got him as bad passive or bad aggro.
without a clue, I don't like to 5bet since fish are more likely to be passive - 4bets=nuts. defenitely a call though, fish are likely to lowcbet everything and we can float a lot, folding most turns if not hit.
his cbet size is nuts only.
+You gotta make a bigger 3bet pre!!!

If you are not getting it in pre, then your 3bet is essentially a bluff. 44/13 means he only open raises strong hands. So if you are not going to get it in, or know you will be getting it in behind his range, then you should just flat his open.
Although he did minraise, which means if you flat the blinds might come along, which you don't want either with AKo.

This isnt true, he can deffo call with worse, our 3b is for value.

that (imo) is bullcrap...
if villain is loose passive (fish) then his calling range is pretty wide and AK is a 3b for value.
if his 4b range is KK+ then 3b and folding is a great move for value and def not a bluff !!!

you dont like 3x IP ?
3x IP is fine when your 3betting range is balanced. In this spot viillain seems to be fishy, so your range shifts bigtime to valuebets - fish don't care if they call another 4bb or 7bb. Those are the sports where you make easy money. Not only cause of the additional 3bb pre but think about streetprojection and betsizing. You suddenly stack him on the river instead of only getting something like 60bb quite often!
