i'm not sure about what to do on turn.

Villain is a 37/8 over 311 hands. Fold to c-bet is 38/% so far.

- open-limps AJ, but minraises 44
- cold calls 3-bet and check/minraises flop

Preflop: Raise for value (card advantage, skill advantage,...)
Flop: Bet big for value from flush draws, worse pairs, straight draws...

On the turn i hit a set, but it's not a great card for me since all his 9x and 4x hands made a straight now. Should i still bet(/fold, depending on raise size?) to get value from flushdraws, 2pair, 8x and possible straight draws?

Hey Axel, tough spot mate, but I think I would bet the turn again not that likely he has a four he might have a 9 but more likely he has pair/draw combo etc....also seems like this fish has a tendency to min raise so if he has hit the straight he might just min raise or call so you still have outs to improve even your beat, overall I would say bet this turn though - river is interesting spot too here if he just flats the turn and the board doesnt pair - I would probably bet again though aslong as its not a diamond - I do go for thin value against the fish though!

Ok thank you, that's similiar to what i thought. I did bet again but he shoved and i folded.

Check flop, call river (any river because fish bluff with pairs in this spot if flush card comes in, call non flush rivers aswell because he can bluff FD)
