When typing combos into the Board: section of pokerstove, I always use a space in between cards. If you choose the cards manually through the pop-up, the program inputs them with a space as well. I ran this example without the spaces and noticed no difference in equity with them, however, I know that in the past removing the spaces has changed the equity calculation I was given. It may have been a bug that has since been fixed but I thought I'd just bring it up for safety's sake
Also the information that was attempted to be concealed is visible on the title bar of each window.

ah yeah you're right. that did get messed up. I always mix that up because I've been using PPT Odds Oracle more in recent months.
Board: Td 4d 3d 3s
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 43.928% 41.83% 02.10% 19049 956.00 { As7s }
Hand 1: 56.072% 53.97% 02.10% 24579 956.00 { random }
thanks for pointing that out.

not really sure why "maybe i won" folded here.If youre out there id love to hear your reasoning behind the fold at the time.And Sthief,how do feel about it?
I know in the vid you say youd call,as would i.Usually in spots like that,If the player is a blind aggression fish,AQ is going to be ahead a large part of the time.When its a decent thinkiung REG its usually for value,As many regs dont triple barell enough IMO.do you agree?

with the 83,wouldnt it be better to maybe c/r the flop rather than bet flop and c/f the turn?
theres going to be alot of turn cards that can we can fire on if our c/r is called.is that too spewy?
Or at the least bet flop and bet turn?Betting the flop and c/f turn seems pretty weak to me especially given that villian is a weak/pass. player that limps in alot of hands.

With the AJdd hand,I really like the check on the turn,planning to c/r.Like u said i think any hands that beat you most likely would have bet the flop(FD,sets,AK,KQ).most TAGS,which his stats appear to be,take advantage of these "scare" broadway cards when they sense weakness imo.
Betting the turn is only going to get us put in a bad spot if we get raised or even flatted i think.If we bet the turn i think we have to check the river on alot of cards,and hope to have it checked back.
I screw up these situations all the time in the heat of the moment.

What is the point of blocking out your player name when it clearly says it at the top of the table window ?
is it really neccasary to waste a post just to say that? Dont you have any other questions? Sthief is one of the best and he takes time out to make a video for our benefit and all you can say is "i can see his name".Come on mannnnnnnnnnn.

Yeah, it's a pretty straightforward call. The main reason I think is because he can definitely be value betting worse hands and chopping hands (calling and chopping is +EV). Whether or not regulars 3-barrel enough is tough to say. I think it depends on the player pool, but I think it's more common in a smallish pot like this one than it is in when someone has to ship in 100bb for psychological reasons.

1 word: fail.
I do it as a favor to everyone who appears on a video. Fortunately Branch10 didn't really care about his sn being blurred but wow did I mess that up. I completely didn't see it and was wondering how AycheDubbleYou knew his screenname.

I agree betting the turn is better than c/f.
If I had a read that this player takes stabs at pots when checked to, I could definitely see a case for a c/r. Without a read, the problem is he might only bet hands he likes enough to call down and check his other hands.

I have thought about this exact situation (turn play after preflop raiser checks flop in position) a lot. The keys are thinking about the types of hands he would check, and also how the river will play out on different cards.

Table 3: AQo what your plan on As or Qs? you folding any spade, K and 4toastr8card that don't hit us??
sounds about right. a big reason I think you can continue is because a bad player will tip his hand strength through bet sizing tells. if he bets 1 again then you can be pretty confident that he's weak. if he bets on an As or Qs I'm usually calling down. if he bets really small then I may raise him. I may continue on a K as well because it makes it unlikely that he'd value bet a 6.
