y r u raising the river? aweful.
it's cheap, and all we have is AQo (which you chased and ISD with).
cheap call. pot control. get to showdown.

raising the river on that board is extremely thin.
as there's far too much in his range that beats us.

KJ, KQ, KT, AK, QJ, JJ, KK, 77, AA.
given the board, and he's c/c, c, lead, i like calling the river only, and getting to showdown.
as played we have to fold. and we dont know anything.

I agree that in a 3b pot, raising the river may be too thin. Don't expect him to have a J or a worse ace here a lot, and he's probably folding a lot of that range to raise.

I would say that by looking at this hand we should be thankful for how it went. We are in position, we C bet after villain checks which is what we are supposed to do. Villain calls, so we check behind on the turn for pot control and to get to showdown. Then the river is an Ace, villain bets lets than half the pot and we have a cheap showdown call in position. The raise was unnecessary and now we are staring into the abyss. I would be nervous calling this river re-raise with just an Ace.
