Unsure about this hand, we are HU and i have no reads on villan as we have only played 3 hands together.
Is this a straight forward fold because i have no reads or a snap call!!
I cant put villan on a range just yet as we haven't played no hands together..
Really unsure about this one, but surely villan show up with Ad so often which means I'm a slight favorite..
So what we reckon guys? I think its a call every time.. (but i'm probably the donk that you regs love playing against!! lol)

The thing about raising the flop is that it puts in this shitty situation when he reraises.

As played i can find a fold.

3b or fold this hand preflop, i dont see how a hand as K9o could be played profitable oop vs an unknown...
not sure about the ck/r he bets super small, makes him look weak.
we have a strong enough hand to call & get to showdown, and if he has us beat we have the second nut flushdraw.
raising will only make him fold all his worse hands & make him continue with better hands & the nfd.
vs that range of better hands & nfd we arent doing verry good...
dont know if this is a fold or call, download pokerstove, put in the ranges, get a calculator & find out...

It seen's like i got myself into a pretty crappy spot here, Villan ended up showing Ad 9h! which just proves your point of only ever getting called with better not worse hands in this spot!!
Thanks for the response guys, hopefully i'll be able to take some of your points in!!

At 2nl... when a fish bets super small, then when you raise he jams or at least now feels free to bet huge in some way... well I read that as super strength.

The mentality is that he flopped awesome (in this case obviously a flush) ...wants to bet but really doesn't want you to fold... so bets really small... (remember at that point you have shown no strength whatsoever.

Then when you raise he's like FUCK YEAH BITCHES I HAZ GOT HIM! and bets huge... like you've flicked a switch for him.

For this reason, I fold to the shove. You're up against a flush most of the time.

Having said that... readless at 2NL I would fold pre. The rake alone is enough to make K9o unprofitable to play in that spot.

Oh Ad9h??

Yeah that's possible too. TPTK+NFD

I still think my basic point is valid. An under bet followed by a massive bet when you raise is usually strong in my opinion. He wanted to bleed you... not knowing if you had anything... then you raise he's like... SICK he HAS got something... then repops you huge.
