Hi, the villain here squeezes 11,1% , 25% on SB... but he is 21 vpip 16 pfr so i guess he's not spazzing away his chips here...

I figured that he would double barrel with hands like AQ, KK(less often since i have KQ), AA or a set...

When you give sqz percentages it would be nice if you could also note the sample size. 25% could be 1 out of 4 or 25 out of 100. This is big difference so it's important to have that info.

Preflop I would just fold. As played I'm folding on the turn.

Yeah if we knew something more about the villain post flop (how often he cbets, barrels, how easy he is going to let us get to showdown etc) calling preflop would be better, but here it's probably a fold.

The reason we'd like to know more about his postflop play is when we get to spots like the one on a turn we have a better idea what to do. In this case I'd probably fold since most 5nl players don't barrel that much.

how many hands is this sample over???

looks like a call for me on the turn, then I decide river based on card and sizing. Just seems too weak to fold this hand on the turn, exploitable maybe to (I sure no one is going to exploit us at 5nl, but from a game theory perspective).

if were folding this on the turn, what is our calling range? like KK+/sets?

I see your point and ofcourse we are exploitable but villain doesn't know we fold top pair. Our range could also have 99-JJ and AcJx for example (not saying hero is calling those but villain doesn't know this) which we call the flop with. We also have AQ and KQ in our range (I'm not a fan of calling a sqz pre with KQo) so it's a bad spot for villain to bluff or bet worse hands for value.

The reason I don't like calling the squeeze with this hand is that we never make a big hand (often dominated) or flop a strong draw.

edit: Is there a big difference to have AQ here instead of KQ? The only hand we beat with AQ is KQ.. I would probably call with AQ and thinking about folding KQ.. sounds weird..

It isn't a big difference but enough for me to call AQ and fold KQ. Dominating KQ is pretty sweet. Chopping with AQ is better than getting dominated by it. Having an A come on the turn gets us more money from some Ax hands. Plus assuming it's the A Club we have a back door draw to the nuts.

All small things, but enough to make AQ a call I think.

Yeah that's why I want to fold KQ and call AQ.
