Would be a sick fold v a fish but do pot odds really matter here?, he maybe plays AQ like this but calls/folds anything else I beat.

I would fold. Pot odds are great, but we still need to find a bunch of hands we beat. The obvious draw gets there and this is also how most villains play their draws (call until they hit). I don't think villain ships AQ here often, to be honest, it's more like almost never.

I don't think people are raising here with AQ. He has a flush there almost always and he's not bluffing with no fold equity and your perceived range is very strong, betting into a flush card. Just save the money, this calls add up. On the river you might wanna check call rather.

I did fold but was actually expecting the usual stuff about pot odds and fish,I'm quite chuffed to find that you guys think it's as standard as it gets.

Thanks for replying

I'd fold, but I think it's worth at least pausing. We are getting better than 5:1.

I'd also raise more pre and bet more on the flop. Probably a little more on the turn too.

river decision is fairly irrelevant as played

flop bet is fine, turn is too small. shove river yourself as played

Preflop bet 4bb from UTG. Pot at the flop: 2.70$. Bet 2.40$, pot at the turn: 7.50$ if you bet close to pot here, you can easily shove any river, and he have a much harder call at the turn, and he can make a much bigger mistake with the draw.
