This AQ spot is pretty interesting cos I think one of the mistakes uS/SSNL regs make is adjusting too fast and I think you've said it as well. Hero being ready to happily 3b/5b AQo kinda is that, OTOH villain might do the same and 4bet a bunch. But we don't know that and assuming it would be overadjusting

Option D in this hand is really interesting, i take this line a decent amount and if you know your opponent you can in some cases b/c the river too. I dont see the raise on the turn as a pure bluff by any means, if you make the raise big enough that he cant call with his draws, but not much bigger than that, you will find that some players react really bad to a line like this, def recomended!

why dont the reg has flushdraws,?
if he's good he opens his range because fish will often call so he wants to play more pots with him so he should add hands who likes familly pot like Axs and suited connectors (that he won"t call without a fish being mp vs you utg
by the way, as already said great serie !

He can't have an Axs-flushdraw because the ace is on the board. That leaves 5 suited connectors, 9h8h/8h7h/7h6h/6h5h/5h4h and they should probably be discounted, since it is quite possible that he will fold them in MP to an UTG-raise even with a loose-passive player in the blinds.

You suggesting to check turn implies that on the flop we are only value betting vs the fish and if called by the reg we are behind his range. Thats seems a little overboard. I prefer betting turn for value against J9hh QJhh KJhh, also I think you might get looked up by AXs occasionally.
If he checked back AX on turn I would like a turn check more, but once we check turn he will likely and correctly so be betting any AX he peeled with on flop. He should be expecting us to be betting AT+ on turn and has an easy protection/value bet on turn when checked to. He occasionally value cuts himslef vs AT and AQ but thats it.

Round 5. Is squeezing AJ vs a good aggressive UTG raise with a fish in the middle standard? Is this a bluff or value squeeze? While we clearly have value vs the fish, seems like UTG's range is too strong for this to be for value against him. At the same time, our hand is too strong to be turning into a bluff. The table dynamics (specifically UTG's likelihood of playing both strong and medium strength hands by calling) seem also to work against us.
Specifically, what hands are we expecting to UTG to call us with? Fold with?

Round 6. We bet half pot with KK after flop and turn check throughs on board of Ac Qc 7c 3o Qo. Answer was that river bet is bad, because not much to get value from. But isn't his range (given the PF 4b call) pretty heavy with JJ/TT/99/88? Given he's passive, won't he call with these hands a lot?

Round 8. Just want to add that the turn raise not only had the advantage of forcing him to fold equity, but also prevents what will in many cases be a profitable river bluff.
I wonder if this might even be an example of the preemptive bet (bet being a raise in this case) as discussed in Mathematics of Poker (p170).
I was curious also how you work this concept into your updated reasons for betting framework from Easy Game, where we have the broader and more correct definitions of value bet and bluff as the only possible reasons for betting. Does the concept of the preemptive bet throw a slight wrench in that, or do you work it in somehow?
Thanks, and this is my favorite DC series so far btw

Round 8
I'd like to add one more reason not to call the river or to raise the turn:
- he can turn into a bluff hands that actually beat us (like 9x, 6x, 77-88)
I also really like this series.
