Hi all, either I have been unlucky lately (getting rivered/not betting when I should for value/protection) or I am not fully undertanding pot control.
However I haven't really decided whether I think pot control is a myth and I either have the best hand (so I keep betting / or I check if I cant get 2 steets etc) or dont so I bluff or give up.
Are there any good resources/vids that discuss pot control? And I'm thinking more advanced than "bet my strong hands, check call my medium hands, check fold my weak hands."

There's definitely a time and place for pot controlling, but it is not OOP. I think a lot of uNL or SSNL players have a lot to gain by just giving up on their medium strengthed hands OOP instead of playing them, cause you just end up putting yourself in a shitty situations on the turn/river where you don't know what to do and make even bigger mistakes. You can't really pot control OOP, so in that sense it is a myth. When you try pot control OOP, you turn your hand face up especially on certain boards and allow villain to play their hand perfectly.
