215bb's deep effective

some 3b and 4b notes on villian

3b ATo+ in SB vs BTN
call 4b IP 78s eff. 100bb, hero (AKs)
check TPTK in 3b pot otf (2)

this particular villian has been playing back at me alot the last few days calling lots of 4bets and 3betting me light alot, calliing 4bets with some small PP's and SC's which i would expect deep like this, but also sometimes with 100bb effective stacks,

hes a 24/19 1.95 agg Reg with a total 3b 8% but i feel this has been wider in the last few days, i only 4b vs this villian TT+ AK.

whats your plan vs this villian OTF and OTT in this situation

I think if villain can do this with AQ, we can call given pot odds [3.6:1 or 27.5% equity] (but if we call and it blanks would you call the shove?). If villain does not raise AQ, we should fold. Even though you feel villain plays back at you a lot, I doubt villain is calling a 4bet OOP, and take this line with a bluff especially since this A smacks your checking back range on the flop.

Hand 0: 40.741% { AhKd }
Hand 1: 59.259% { TT, 66, 44, AQs+, ATs, A6s, A4s, AQo+ }
vs
Hand 0: 18.660% { AhKd }
Hand 1: 81.340% { TT, 66, 44, AKs, ATs, A6s, A4s, AKo }

Your notes want me to think that post-flop villain would rather pot control with TPGK vs bloat the pot with TPGK. I would fold

i guess this depends how villian perceives my range

i just feel villians check for later value,

u think a check/call is better or bet/fold as played?

i just dont want to be exploited here by folding too much....

I think a bet/fold is the better option if villain is rarely check/raising as a bluff. I think we should bet and get value from AQ, AJ, JJ-QQ (we don't want to give villain a free card to suckout) and decide on river if we want to bet again or check behind.
