Hey guys. I know I probably played this quite horribly but would like your opinion on how you would've played it.

Thanks!

any reads on the villain?

and would you care to explain your thought process? this hand looks like a real mess...

pre- without info, i'm not a big fan of 3betting OOP. by calling we keep villains range wide.

post- if you call the raise, it is to hit you flush or a jack, right? but when the 4th spade comes, you just x/c his very very small bet?
and then donkshove the river? this is as a bluff, right? what worse hands will call this shove?

Do we have villain stats?
I'm not a big fan of playing JJ for stacks vs UTG open range. I assume you are not folding vs a 4bet preflop? I prefer to flat preflop vs an unknown.
Do you think we get called on the river by a lot fo worse hands? If villain has a flush, he probably has a higher one and I don't think he is going to call with an Ace.

Yes sorry for that totally forgot. His stats were 26/22 AF 8, 3bet% 0, Fcbet 50%, Turn cbet 100%, Fold to flop cbet 50%. Not big sample, just 50 hands.

Thanks for the very fast answers : ).

Are you happy to get in in pre when you face a 4bet?

No actually I wouldn't. I was doing a sweat, was on another big hand on another table and was not being able to focus that much, that's why I played it horribly, didn't even get a thought process on it. I should have flat and played accordingly. Just wanted your opinions to know what you would've done preflop, and postflop once three clubs dropped.

I understand. To start with I would flat pre since I'm not happy to see a 4bet and get it in vs an UTG open range. Once we 3bet the flop and turn are played fine imo. River is bad because we don't get called by worse often.

Seems pretty bad.

Preflop: Before I say this and get pounced on I'd just like to say that I've played a crapload of 10NL, 16NL, and 25NL in the last month or so. At 25NL I would be absolutely stoked to 3b/5b this preflop; at 10NL, I would be fairly inclined to flat this pre, especially if I had poorer players behind me.

Flop: I would actually be fairly tempted to fold this flop. Our J-high flushdraw is dominated tons, and all the hands that we are dominated by are basically coinflipping against us.

Turn: I'd be pretty tempted to snap fold this turn when he bets. Don't think he bets a set, don't think he's bluffing very often, pretty sure we are just behind and am expecting to see the nuts or the second nuts a ton.

River: Ahhh, I'm not sure what this was. If it's a bluff attempt to get him off a higher flush I think it's pretty bad; don't think he folds the Kc, especially when you flat the flop min-raise and given he's a player who will min-raise.
