Im going to dig this back up again. I think in theory i could be exploitable at 10nl by just folding to most 3 bets. Before i would put more bluffs in their range than was likely, but in reality people are defending their blinds with a depolarised range, 3 betting KQo AJ Ax ect. So i can exploit by just calling with a much stronger range and letting them make mistakes post flop.

Here i start to enter a grey area where i could be ahead of his range on the flop but raising only gets called by better and folds out his bluffs, but calling and hoping he gives up on the turn seems weak... I guess it is read dependent as stated before. With it being such a broad subject can anyone recommend any good vids/threads on it?

The second thing is adjusting to someone who is 3 betting me IP to the point where im being exploited. Now if a regish looking guy starts 3 betting my CO opens from the button and he has a HUD, id expect him to be polarised since i have a stupidly high fold to 3 bet (about 80%) and flatting his hands with some post flop value. Now this might not be the case, he might 3 bet AJs KQs 77+ for 'value' but either way i know he doesn't have just AA KK every time.

So my question here is we have a holding like QQ or AK. Now if i 4 bet, i am doing it for 'value' since i am ahead of his wide 3 bet range and if he shoves im up against AA KK AK which i have 39% equity. Now i HAVE to call since i gave myself odds with my 4 bet of 26 BB, so although the call is a flip, my actual 4 bet is +EV due to the fold equity?? 4 bet and then folding would be stupid?

So how could we exploit him further, would it be better to widen our value 4 bet range? If we add more pairs, (77 still has 39% equity) we call his shove and lose our stack 2/3 of the time, but if he has more bluffs in his 3 bet range than value hands we print money long term due to fold equity? I guess we could 4 bet bluff him and fold to a shove but this would be -EV am i correct?

Now in practical terms at 10nl im probably not going to start doing this because im not going to get enough folds but im just thinking ahead in terms of how to exploit villains.

Am i on the right track here?

Example 4 bet hand against someone with a wider 3 bet range. Also, would we increase our EV by 4 bet pushing or just 4 betting a normal amount and letting him shove?
