Pretty easy shove, I like your line throughout the hand. We shove because we can get called by a ton of worse hands, like Kx, straights, JT. When a fish raises like this on rivers normally it is with strong hands but fish has the tendency to over value non nut hands.

If the fish has KJ/KT/JJ/TT/KK then thats poker.

I agree with Mark, also a fish is most likely donking/raising two pair a lot of the time, and if not there's still a ton of junk you beat in his range.

I have to agree with above. This guy is playing so many hands (76 pfr) and anyone who plays that many starting hands will value raise TP, 2pair, any straight he thinks is the absolute nuts even on a paired board. I am super happy to get it all in here and if he lucks into a higher FH... well unlucky this time around, but it was still the right decision.

Hero raises [$1.57 USD]
Villain raises [$12.80 USD]
Hero calls [$4.59 USD]
Villain wins $20.55 USD from main pot
Villain shows [Jc, Kh ]

I didn't like my min re-raise, I think I should have either raised more or agree with you guys and just shoved.

Let me know your thoughts

It doesn't matter what you do. After the turn when you have a set and villain has 2pair neither of you are folding. And on the river where it is FH against FH all the money is going in. Don't beat yourself up about it. At these stakes you can't get away from a boat.

I'd shove too. Granted KT and KJ are in his range but so are AK, KQ, K9-K2s, straights, AA, maybe some stupid stuff.

Our hand does go down in value a bit because we're 140bb deep and you arent expecting to win here every time but I still think its the most ev play. Especially cause so far villain doesnt SEEM superpassive.

Villain is a big fish and might overplay different types of hands. Def a shove.
