Villan was a tagfish, sort of tag who calls too much and isnt aggressive enough, he hadn't squeezed once over 150 hands, does this therefore become a turbo muck?

Poker Stars $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players - View hand 1725655

UTG: $13.25
CO: $32.79
Hero (BTN): $25.00
SB: $25.37
BB: $50.55

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is BTN with T Spade T Heart
UTG raises to $0.63, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.63, SB raises to $2.25, UTG folds, Hero?

It's not the biggest squeeze, so with the dead money. I'd be tempted to call, and float a lot of flops. Expecting most villain not to double barrel bluff.

can we not setmine here?

I'd prefer larger stack sizes.

If villain hasn't squeezed (granted over a small sample), and isn't aggressive, what suddenly makes you think he is squeezing as a bluff here? 4betting is out of the question vs. this particular villain, obviously.

I think I just fold here.

If we're ~130-150BB deep, I may call to setmine and play postflop.

Pretty easy call imo.

Lots of dead money and a small squeeze against a player who isn't aggressive meaning we can get to SD fairly cheaply/often.

Show us the flop!

Yeah I think I'd call but folding is fine. Actually thinking about it more at 25nl rake it might just be a fold pre.

Does the rake at 25NL, really make this a fold? Smile

It's probably pretty close to neutral ev.

Isn't a top hand against a range of QQ+/AK.

utg opens for 2.5x. how come it not +ev to call with TT on the button?
even if his range is purely AA,KK. then call to setmine must be plus ev?
no?

We dont call 2.5bb we call a squeeze.

I'd call here.

Think we cant rule out bluffs completely here.
