Villain is a chatty 20/16 3B%:4. So he's certainly on the tighter side. He also perceives me to be tight, as he had explained in a previous hand.
I opted to flat the 3bet here, because I want to keep the wider part of his range in (it's pretty narrow anyway) and if I got it in, I felt I'm always up against pretty big hands. The fact he's pretty tight, might make this a fold. But it's a small sample, and I assume that his range for 3betting could be slightly wider than KK/AA.
So on this flop, I was toying with shoving or just raising as normal. I felt this was the best size, because it says I'm committed to the pot. I prefer this vs shoving, 'cos I feel that I would never shove with a made hand here, and it probably makes it obvious I got some sort of draw.
The problem I have with this play is that he only folds worse. With that in mind is it still a standard get it in?

I'd call otf because there are like no turns we have to be afraid of, he might barrel those but most of the time we get him to turn his hand face up ott because people chf turns a lot in 3b pots and because his range is quite tight I'd rather have him do that than get the money in vs his tightish range otf, although our equity together with some dead money probably prices us in to do so

raise/call it off, if he ever folds like JJ here, that is obv a massive win for us. With a hand like this you want to try to either a) take the pot down immediately to realize your equity or b) get all the money in immediately when your equity is the highest

Call pre as 4 betting is probably too thin vs this guy and we can obvz never get him to fold better.
I like flatting the flop and seeing a turn vs a nit as he's not folding here very often and it isn't likely he has a range that will bluff you.

Am I the only that thinks we should be folding pre? A tight guy is 3betting an UTG open and we are going to miss the flop and have to fold most of the time. We also aren't going to stack his worse hands that often when we do hit. Seems like a fold to me if we can't 4bet profitably.

I don't like flat it (unless UTG open wide). When I am facing that situation (UTG open BTN or SB 3bet and I have AK on BB, I am thinking of folding, but mostly I call. What would you do when UTG shove? However I like shoving flop vs JJ-QQ we have 14-15 outs. Vs TT+ we have 46% so we need some fe, so SB have to have in his range hands like AX, KQ to make this shove +ev.
