Had 7th april off for partying so today I will be looking into getting back into the grind. I think having a day off once in a while is a good way to recharge your batteries.

Is calling flop standard for you here Mark?
Pretty standard vs an unknown at 16nl
I think turn is a straight forward fold though. He's never value betting worse and I wouldn't give an unknown credit to understand that you range for getting the turn is weak and thus turning overcards / air etc. into a bluff.
Edit: Oops, you said it is. Got it mixed up with the KQ hand.
8th of april ended up -36$ and 2.346 hands played. Pretty slow day and only 4-6 tabling due to a serious hangover. WIll try get some hands in today and hopefully I can post a cool hand.
9th of april showed a profit of 60$ and 2.515 hands played.
I think I might have to reconsider my goal of hands since I have way too much stuff to do during the days. Well see how that develops. Other than that Ive been 4-6 tabling the whole day after being coached by a friend and I played somewhat unusual 27/24/13 over last 3.500 hands. Im also around 8 buyins below ev today so hopully tomorrow will be treating me better.
Quick update playing 25nl exclusively now, running alightly below EV and lost a few BIs, got in a few standard spots and lost - Fish open shoves I have ako in BB - he had JJ and held. KK lost to AA all in pre, huge draw all in on the flop I had an OE straight flush draw he had middle pair and held (think he hit runner runner FH lol).
My graph looks quite swingy now, think I'm ok with the crazy amounts of 3betting compared to 16nl, just folding alot to nitty 3bettors and calling IP with decent hands vs aggro tags.
And called in a few obvious fold spots, only a couple - the higher up you go the more you get punished for mistakes, as people value bet more. They might still call too much but they definately value bet better.
Finished Yin Yang - awesome series, highly recommended. Now onto running the streets by Shuttle seems good so far if you like maths stuff
Mark:
KQo hand:
your range pf consists (this i asume) mostly of pocketpairs and SOME broadway combos. (not sure about you but i 3bet KQo, KJo, AJo, ATo etc here against a CO open.)
Villain should know this so in combination with him playing his draws fast i definately call here and re-evaluate river. Also its a scarecard for your range.
Viktor: why would he ever fold 88 on J44r? And raising isnt really an option against an unknown.
We all cbet that board 100% i think.
I'd call flop call turn, fold river usually.

88 vs UTG open from a problable TAG isnt doing very well on a J44, also considering were out of position. If we have the idea of villain being TAG he can easily put pressure on us when we go into check/call mode. He will problably barrel any broadway and even if the turn/river is blank he will continue with overpairs. I might consider turning our hand into a bluff here if we had a read that he might fold fold overpairs or a J but I would most likely fold on the flop. I would also consider 3betting this hand preflop or fold.
This might sound weak but I try to avoid pain.
Little update for myself:
Played 36.000 hands, and Im currently at 5.5bb/100. Its about what I expected when I started april and Im delighted that Im still somewhat where I shud be. Only one thing has changed and that is that Im starting a full time job again in a near future and If it happens in april I might need to decrease the amount of hands I need to play. Will try to find a hand tonight to post aswell.
Another update: currently at 45.600 hands and 6bb/100. Will post graph when I reach a bigger sample.
Been pretty rough this week running bad and not been playing my a-game. Ive also been mixing it up with some 3max NLHE and I think if you table select well enough you can make alot of profit there if you think you got an edge vs your opponent. Anywho, might need to change my hand goal of 100.000 to maybe but it all depends when I start working.
Update - basically did well at 16nl and it has taken me a while to adjust to 25nl. Played a really good session today and finished a bit up despite being massively below EV (mainly due to a huge all in pre my AA vs villan KK pretty deep, K on turn). What was nice is that I continued to play well and not tilt and finished the session only when I started to feel tired.
Had to write down a few do's and dont before the session as I have been making dumb mistakes and getting punished for it. In a way this is what I like about moving up, it highlights mistakes and you either have to improve or move back down or lose your bank roll. At 16nl because of the lack of aggression and or more villan mistakes your own mistakes are less obvious.

As you can see from my graph I moved to 25nl after about 6k hands when the swingyness started.
So my list of do's and donts/working on (I will let you figure out which is which)
floating without a plan or equity
spewing needlessly, when can't get called by worse
Turn jams without nuts/near nuts/nut mega draws - i.e. when can't get called by worse
Stupid check raises - without equity
Making moves vs unknowns - give them credit!!!!!!
More steals

Quick update, nearly halfway there to my target of 30k hands, not sure I will make it but will keep trying.
Feeling a bit better about 25nl, ran pretty well today, had one of those annoying sessions where you lose a couple of BIs early on but recovered via 2 big all ins TT vs QQ where I sucked out with a set on the turn and KK all in pre vs A8s vs an aggro TAG.
Running pretty good at the minute but nothing to write home about. Really still trying to focus on my list of do's and donts, being back in the black is nice. Playing alot better and posting lots on the forums.
Given my aggressive BR strategy I'm not far off 50nl which is a bit scary. Havent played it since I took a few shots in January which didn't end well.
Can't really decide on what video series to watch, watched running the streets first 3eps, this is a dry maths series so far possibly not for me, watched professor pltkin ep 1 and the ugly duckling ep1. Think I will watch ugly duckling as its about taking a 100nl player and imporving them so will perhaps have some leaks like me. I will watch the others too so no offence Shuttle
Been slow with updates recently due to unexpected evens but Im very delighted to be in line with my goals. Currently played 57.000 hands and 8.000 hands at NL60/120 (roughly guessed due to swedish conversion) on different site. Im swimming around 7-8bb/100 and very happy to keep my a-game up 95% of the time.
Another thing; Were currently eight members of the group and were looking to extend the number with two more people at the beginning may. So if your interested post me a message with a nice application and you will be considered.
Final update, completed 29.5k hands so near enough my goal of 30k. I found this challenge really good for my learning, I started playing 16nl, moved to 25 nl and am now playing 50nl. The 2 dips are first few hands immediately after moving up in stakes.
Although I have played some 25 and 50nl in the past I was not as good as I am currently so did struggle. Felt alot more comfortable this time.
As for my other goals, didnt manage to review anyones video as there were none in the members section, although I did sit in on a group review.
Finished Yin Yang series, it was great.
Also feel more comfortable bet folding, even huge hands so thats good, definately getting better at folding. Today lost 2BIs but really was just coolers or bet fold rivers
