Overall with what's been said so far, I'd say you have some preflop stuff to work on as well as post flop. Of course I'm not sure what your best learning process is, but I'd suggest working on some preflop fundamentals, and then progress to post flop. Simply put, making good preflop decisions is going to make postflop overall easier in the long run. Then once you've got a winning basic strategy going all around, you can begin to try new things. Of course I could be just talking out of my ass, but I think it makes sense

Also if you don't have a premium account, DO EET! What you're doing right here, along with the actual videos, and some trial and error, will help you make improvements much faster than what should be legally acceptable

Some hands I played yesterday. Session was breakeven.

To fold or not to fold?

Villain plays 64/0 over 12 hands. Flush, set or overpair??? Can I fold in this spot or just reraise him.

Playing for the nutsflush:
I'm I playing this one ok? Think if I hit the nutflush here then I can stack him so got the implied here. River is a clear fold when my draw misses.

Overpair till river
Villian plays 39/26 over 31 hands. Play check/call to reach showdown cheap with my overpair. On the river Q and villain checks behind. Must I play this hand aggressive to take the pot before showdown?

Flopped 3-kind against maniac
Villain plays 74/42 over 45 hands and had an AF of 5,7. He raises 40% of his hands preflop so I tought I could treat this as a limp whit the plan fit/fold on the flop. On the flop I call his bets to let him put money in the pot. On the river I hope he has a toppair but he checks so I bet just under potsize for max value. Most people play fit or fold here so bettingsize does't matter.

Yesterday I started to read al lot about preflopstrategys. Starting with a SHC and look when I can deviate from it. Also have make a time shedule, every day I play I will learn at least 1 hour before I'm gonna play, reading document etc. On 2 days in the week I'm gonna watch a video (start with "from the ground up" will sign up DC in the weekend Grin ) and 1 day in a week I don't play but review hands with Pokerstove.

Sometimes things dont go as you want them to go........after the last post I made I played several sessions and did make some progress but then I got in a very busy period on my work. Due to this fact I didn't poker much. I really had no time left and if I was at home I was too tired to play.

But things are normal now and I again I have much time to work on my game and play the beautifull game. So it's time that I pick up this tread and go forward. Only difference is that I now have a bankroll that I can play NL10. Grin

I hope that I have a lot of goodrun and get some good advise here to get my game to a higher level!!

Tonight I played almost 1k hands on Full Tilt, 10NL.

Something wrong here? Is he calling with a pair and hitting a set? So I must fold on his flop raise?

no stats no reads no info? Poker is a game of information and you have provided none, other than you played alot of hands and were probably clicking buttons on multiple tables.

Youre right.....here the stats that I use during play:

Villain TT-hand 33/13 over 15 hands and 3-bets 0,0%
Villain AK-hand 29/26 over 35 hands and 3-bets 15,4%

Maybe I should gonna use the cbet/f2cbet stat too in my hud. But the samplesize is too small for reliable stats on this.

And I play only to learn so I play max 3 or 4 tables. Reason is that with only 2 tables I lose my concentration. This was a long session I played 1k hands is much for me.

The AK hand I would 4bet preflop and call a shove.

The problem with calling is you will miss on a lot of flops so you will often be out of position on the flop with just A high and you will not have the initiative.

While the 4-bet will fold out many hands you are ahead of, calling out of position against an aggressive opponent will make it difficult to get to show down when you miss.
