If I was going to bluff the river, I am bluff shoving. Not putting in a 2/3 pots bet. I am guessing that he either has 10-qq or a weak King. I don't think that he would be check raising, as would want to get value from his hand.

You're trying to rep Kx here, not a set. Please don't try to rep sets, it's generally a very bad idea esp. at low stakes.
I like the bluffshove on the river if we're bluffing, but generally I'd just check the turn & river here since it's a dry flop and it's kinda hard to rep anything other than hands like KT-KQ.

Does anyone else limp this? I fold it preflop. I agree with action_jp about checking it down after you take a stab on the turn -- I don't think he's going to check-call and then give up on the river very often.

I like overlimping with hands like this or from SB. This hand often will make you want to cry playing OOP after limping, and probably won't make much money playing these hands OOP.

So you're agreeing with me? (Sounded like a disagreement, but he limped this UTG). I will overlimp it sometimes but will often raise it preflop after limpers if they aren't tricky postflop. I pretty rarely overlimp right now in NL though.

Yeah I'm agreeing with you, I forgot to preface my overlimping comment with 'I don't like limping UTG with hands like this'.
For the most part, the overlimping for me happens when I'm sitting on a table where people downloaded a FTP client without the fold button.

Well, the last time I openlimped I had KK in a live ring game and the CO was prone to jamming his 40BB stacks preflop with anything.
I can't remember the last time I did it in a 6max game.. but it's probably appropriate under certain circumstances?

First does anyone like the turn bet?
you need to bet to chase draws as they wouldnt call a riverbet, but hands that beat you.
What about the river bluff?
this bet is not a bluff - its the most stupid valuebet ever
I thought I could rep a set and try to get him off a king...
rep a set lol. how would you do that? hes NEVER folding a king. hes neither folding 9x,TT,JJ,QQ etc
which is basically what I am putting him on after he calls the turn.
a king would sooo bet the turn, he got jackskindahand or a draw. which is an awful play, if you get jacks, queens in such a situation, bet.

is there anything wrong with checking the turn????? you have a draw and can evaluate his hand on the river based on what he bets, giving you more info and you can bet accordingly based on what you think he has.

just as a general guideline, at low stakes you'd do fine never open limping. i'd generally fold 76s utg, but it's ok for an open some % of the time. to those considering completing in the sb, i'd probably want 2 limpers before i came along for the ride; there aren't that many hands we love, and it's harder to get paid off as we're oop.
