Villain is a 78 3.... Do I keep betting or do I slow down, He has been calling everyone since he got to the table, however he has folded to all of my previous bets postflop... I have been playing quite tight really ...there is no draws for him to chase...

DO I just carry on and if he has a 9 then...say ah well???

I am not sure why you are mashing the pot button but this is a pretty bad time to do it unless your goal is to try and get him all in. I think you can maximize earnings and minimize loss by a slightly different strategy for bet sizing. Seems like you think that he is passive enough that you can fold to a raise so I would do something like, bet 3/4 pot, bet 2/3 pot, bet 1/2 pot and fold to a raise at any point.

thanks for replying

Never thought of doing that against these type of players, Most advice is to pot pot pot until they raise u!! Would you not check the turn as there is no draws to see if he bets, If he does then bet do we fold or call?

Tbh i'm quite happy to get it allin here vs an 78/3 surf??
And yes if he has a 9 it's a cooler imo. He's paying you off with any pair.
