Still trying to figure out the 50NL game. Just played a few thousand hands, and I'm still having some trouble.
Villain seems like a TAG player and he's also sitting at another table I'm playing at. I just have 30 hands on him, and I haven't seen him involved in any big pots. VPIP/PFR = 26/19
My intention was to 3bet and have a possible call, and ship it on any T high flop. I don't know if my squeeze is good or not and after his 4bet, I'm totally lost and inclined to fold.
Boss Media (IPN) No-Limit Hold'em, €0.50 BB (5 handed)
Button (€44.75)
Hero (BB) (€51.50)
MP (€26.28)
SB (€71.05)
UTG (€50.99)
Preflop: Hero is BB with J
J
UTG bets €1.75, 2 folds, SB calls €1.75, Hero raises to €8, UTG raises to €20.75, 1 fold, Hero ???

Watch the latest Tommy Angelo video. Especially the part about anticipation. You can't 3bet here and only have a plan for when you get called.
That said vs a TAGish unknown I flat here most of the time preflop. Good relative position and you keep his opening range intact.

Yeah, you shouldn't be squeezing this preflop if you can't get it in pre.
meh, very opponent/table dynamics dependent. if SB is a fish and UTG is somewhat competent i actually like 3-betting to isolate in this spot. also if UTG calls 3-bets too light and only 4-bets the nizzles, there can be a lot of value in a 3-bet for value against him too.
the main thing is you have to have a plan and know how your opponent is going to react, and know how you will in turn, rather than 3-betting then going "oh shit!" when you get reraised.
