New here and hot motivated. looking not only for good vids, I think it would be great to join or start a Skype channel to discuss strategy.
I play NL10 currently. Beated NL30 really hot but did not focus on getting better. So the other Players where gettin better and myself weaker.
So if there are any interests of starting a Skype channel just mail me.
I dont think thats that important but as you may noticed I am not a native English speaker. I am German but I dont prefer German nor English speech. I think I can express and understand english good enough to handle a poker discussion.

I've been surfing through the video guides, but i am looking for something spesific; I need a video of someone losing, making tough decisions and trying to deal with bad beats and coolers. yes I can even watch hours of folding if required.

I recently just joined DC and instantly fell in love with the site! noice! Ive been watching various micro/small stakes videos from balluga whale, krantz, jk3a, and wot and I have learned a lot. thanks guys!

Anyways, I do have a question: how relevant are the concepts and game play dynamics of the video series that have been posted 3+ years ago to today's online games?

Oh and also are there any videos in particular to up my 3 betting strategy pre-flop? I sometimes struggle in current 6 max games when I should 3 bet for value...

what does "for value" mean to you?

I guess to 3 bet for value would mean that I believe my two hole cards are stronger than villains perceived range....

Hey everyone,

I am new to poker, been playing and studying for a couple months now. I've been through a couple deposits and even sat at a couple live cash-games and played pretty bad and had moments of good stuff too.

I am playing on Lock right now, just deposited there this week.

I am currently reading Sklansky and watching a lot of videos here on SnG's which is currently my game of choice. I am doing my best to master this game and use SnG's to build my bankroll and pay for private coaching down the line.

I work a full-time job and play poker almost daily when I get the free time. I run good in the mornings so I try to play more then.

My style is still unclear but I'm beginning to see a more respectable TAG style evolve from my fishy-but-competent play.
-I think I play pretty well for such a rookie. I am not afraid of tough spots but don't look for them either.
-I am intelligent and don't believe there are any concepts beyond my grasp which I also believe has gotten me into trouble because I have bitten off more than I could chew at times, so to speak.
-If anyone has recommendations or would like to see hand history I would be happy to oblige.

Looking forward to putting in a lot of work and hopefully one day quitting my full-time job to play poker professionally while being an investor on the side however I make no illusions about the time and work that will take.

I am appreciative of everyone involved here and grateful to have these resources.

Yeah, the limit is 1 million.

No theres no limit but I wouldnt really post more than 5 at a time to avoid clogging up the front page before you get any replies.
