Hy,

Villain just sat at table this orbit.
But it is his Table(Table has his name and seat was reserved for him)...
so i assume he has to be a somewhat thinking player, that puts me on a range of hands.

----

Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

BB: $52.35
Hero (UTG): $55.85
MP: $39.55
CO: $60.90
BTN: $69.05
SB: $67.70

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is UTG with 4 Heart 4 Diamond
Hero raises to $1.50, MP calls $1.50, 4 folds

Flop: ($3.75) A Diamond 4 Spade T Club (2 players)
Hero bets $2, MP calls $2

Turn: ($7.75) 7 Club (2 players)
Hero bets $4.50, MP raises to $10, Hero calls $5.50

River: ($27.75) A Spade (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $26.05 all in, Hero requests TIME, Hero calls $26.05

----

Flopbetsize: I bet small to induce a raise. Good idea/Bad idea?

Turn: I somewhat hope he has a AT A7(not really in his MP-PF-Callingrange i guess) or AK. I don't think i can fold here, right?

River: I know i could bet here (to get value from Ax), but i was kinda scared so i checked intuitively,
i guess i should have folded, since i checked, right?

The reason, why i think AKo isn't really in his river-shoving-range is,
that he has to somewhat expect, that i only continue with better than AK after his turn-raise, right?

As played, ck/fold river? Why not?

Which line would have been better?

Thx in advance for all replies =)

You have severely under-repped your hand. If you're doing that, you shouldn't be folding the river unless you know villain is an ultra nit who can't possibly have anything other than a better boat.

On the turn you say that villain will assume you will only continue with AK or better. You can have a large number of turned draws and I highly doubt he expects you to fold any Ax. This last fact makes it harder for him to be bluffing the river, but the way you've worded your post makes me think you put him squarely on only value bets and 0 bluffs, which may not be the case. His turn raise sizing is also somewhat suspect, it's not a standard size by any means and it may well be a bet sizing tell for this player.

I don't think it's a spot where you should folding the top of your range at present.

I think you bet to small on the flop and the turn. If he has an A he is calling if he has AT he may raise and I doubt you betting bigger will change that. I think it is far better to bet near pot on the flop, turn and then ship the river and let him call you off with his Ax hands. As played there is no way in the world I am folding thaty river.
