Im pretty sure that a 3B PF makes more sense but thats not my concern after flop.
The UTG player has been pretty active up to this point and im pretty sure he has a hand at this point, and not AIR.
So how would you guys proceed??Seems like theres a couple diff plays here.
Thank you in advance for the help/replies. Smile

I like the call with A7 personally. With BTN's stats you are rarely getting squeezed from him and are basically the btn yourself, and SB and BB have low 3bet% and the BB is deep stacked with you. This is the type of hand you want to see a family pot with because you can make a lot of money if you hit your flush.

I am not sure on how to play this flop, I have a leak with 3+way pots on the flop where I over analyze and play super passively. I want to say a raise is in order because we have so much equity and great implied odds vs a UTG PFR range if we hit our hand. It sucks if he come back over the top and I think we have to shove if he does reraise.

As played, on the turn, we have even more equity but I don't think we should raise it because he will not call it with a worse ace or drawing type hand because there are not many of those hands in his UTG range. Perhaps we could get him to fold AK which is one of the few hands that beat us in equity that he is still around with, but I think we are better off keeping him in the pot. He may 3barrel a blank on the river w TT-QQ or he may bet again with TPTK

again,I agree with your analysis of the hand and i did make that dumb raise on the turn which basically makes him fold hands we beat and ReRaise hands were behind. He did shove after my turn raise and i called (bad play #2)
I have a habit of not fulkly thinking things out during play because i play 6-9 tables and cant really give full attn to these spots which im thinking of dropping down to 6 tables MAX.
So obviously when he shoves turn i need help because he flipped over 33.
This is certainly why were supposed to raise the flop and not the turn.

I play 2 tables. I still am forced to make decisions without fully thinking them out. I took a hiatus from poker and now that I am back into it, I am making my SOLE focus on my game getting better, not increasing my win rate. That will happen organically as I get better. So, I thoughts are I am playing NL.04 right now at two tables and once I get to 20k hands at 3+bb/100, I will either play 3 tables of NL.04 or start playing 2 tables of NL.10 and start that process over.

Using this technique I am getting the absolute most skills learned per hour, versus increasing my short term win rate by playing more tables.

John82187,

You can find a guide to poker lingo easily with a cursory google search. It can certainly be overwhelming at first, like getting into any technical hobby, but the concepts themselves are not confusing. At least, for the most part.
