We are on the turn with an OESD, pot is $500 and villain bets $400. We are a 5:1 dog so for the call to be profitable the pot would need to be 5*400=2000? Lets say we call and the poker gods are with us and we make the straight on the river, the pot is now $1300 so we only need to make a $350 bet for our turn call to be neutral EV. Am I getting this right?

Im trying to get my head around poker math, and math is definitely not my strong side.

If you call $400 bet when the pot is $900 it means that you need to win the rest on the river.
So it's 2000-900=1100.

You need to make a $1100 bet, which would mean you won a $2000 pot (excluding your turn call and river bet).
