Well, they say you shouldn't bluff the micros as someone will likely call you down. I don't think that's necessarily true but when the PFR calls my c/r and 2nd barrel, I'm thinking the pot is pretty live, not dead.
Also, if he's gonna fold a busted FD or an overpair on the river of a 3 flush board, you don't need to pot it / go AI to get him to do so.

i agree that trying to get someone to fold an overpair can be pretty suicidal. and i sometimes have hard time estimating my foldequity with different Villains. but he should have a hard time calling the river with TT-AA on this board texture/runout. what betsize would you chose for the river?

Maybe this is a bit to fancy for the stakes you play because people cant make disciplined laydowns but in general I like your line and villain will have a hard time calling with an overpair and sometimes even with a set. Don't be surprised you get called by TT. The idea is good IMO.

i think the lack of information on Villain is a bit critical when making such a play. so maybe i should wait till i have a bigger sample and think he is capable of making such a laydown.

Well, maybe he should have a hard time showing down an OP here but, like I say, people have a harder time folding and will call down light at the micros.
I take it he had an OP then?
TBH, I wouldn't be bluffing that river card, why would the 4c make him fold if he hasn't done so already?
What's yr VP? if you're a tight player who doesn't really play mid SCs etc and you didn't 3 bet him pre, he prob has you on 2 overs anyway and would know you haven't hit that board.

I think your heart is in the right place but I might have chosen a different board where you have more equity. And I agree with Adriano that we can't really get people to make dicipæined laydowns which is why we make so much on our value bets.

i pretty much agree with that. i mean there are a good amount of player who are capable of making tight folds or even fold too tight but i definitely need a bigger sample and reads to find out who they are.
in this hand Villain called me a fish and an idiot and timed down and folded so i guess i got lucky i definitely see me getting snapped off by an overpair by a good amount of NL10 players. i am not sure maybe he even folded a set in this hand because he was so angry.
