Villain 1:
20/17 with (~20-30% CO steal or higher maybe) somewhat decent 25-50NL regular who has "only" 4bet/fold range OOP and has a calling range IP.

Villain 2:
bad regular or weak passive 20/9 not very positionally aware (20% or lower CO steal) player who has a calling range both OOP and IP.

Situations with 100bb stacks:

1) Villain x opens in CO and we are in BU with J9s and blinds are tight/passive, non squeeze happy.
2) Villain x opens in BU and we are in SB with J9s and BB is tight/passive, non squeeze happy. (if we are in BB?)

What`s your thoughts on 3betting preflop and cbetting vs flatting preflop looking to ch/r or raise flops with backdoor SD+FD (we have JSpade9Spade and the flop is THeart 2Spade 4Club) in both situations?

What if effective stacks got deeper (150bb+) ?

What factors do you consider are important to lean to one or another line?

In the bb I would def Flat against about every player (from LP). In the SB I would sometimes flat vs minraise or against 2,5x bu open, but only if I think villain is not too great. Against co open or 3x bu open I would 3bet or fold,3bet most of the time. In the bu I think flatting is usually ok, but if not 3betting def is.
The flop u describe does look good for checkraising, but be aware, against a good opponent, that you are repping really thinly, especially in the sb where you prob are perceifed to 3bet TT, and 3bet or fold 22 and 44. So unless you get credit for c/r AT or alike, you practically dont rep anything. (which is not a problem against unsophisticated players though)

Bet sizing

Situation1:
Villain1: 3bet some of the time, fold most of the time.
Villain2: Fold
Situation2:
Villain1: in the sb, 3 bet some of the time, fold most of the time, in the bb, 3 bet some of the time, call some of the time(unless raise size is particularly big), fold some of the time.
Villain2: in the sb, fold, in the bb, call some of the time, fold some of the time

Villain 1
1) 3bet or call are both fine depending on our image
2) 3bet or fold from the sb, call in bb

Villain 2
1) call
2) call from sb and bb

That`s a good point actually. Hmm now it got me thinking what kind of flops we could actually ch/r or raise holding Backdoor SD+FD type hand on the flop not to be full of shit majority of the time vs sophisticated player.
