Carbon Poker 2c 4c 6max. 4NL.

Hero (4.78) is CO with A Club A Diamond

1 fold, Villain (5.27) calls 4c Hero raises 13c 3 folds Villain calls 9c. Pot 32c.

Flop 3 Heart 6 Heart 2 Diamond

Villain bets 32c, Hero calls 32c. Pot 96c

Turn J Club

Villain shoves 4.82c.

Hero tanks and reviews notes on Villain (limp called AKos from UTG, Tight passive pre)

His range was looking to me like NFDs over pairs, and sets. Was only concerned about JJ, was willing to fade the NFD. Does my flop play suck here. My notes made me call. (prob never fold this at 4NL anyway)

Hero calls 4.33c is all in. Villain shows K Diamond K Club Hero wins.

Hero shakes his head. What should have been a correct thought process here for me? Or is this just super standard at this level? Thanks. Sorry but cant figure out how to convert Carbon Poker hands yet.

I would rise the flop, As played call the turn. Weak players play that way many hands that you beat as - fd, Jx, gutshots,

You have AA at 4nl raise bigger pre, like $0.20/$0.24 you could probably get away with even more and that would make the flop, turn, and river bets way bigger. I raise flop while you can still pile in money before a heart, 5, or 4 comes off and makes you not wanna raise turn. I can see him doing this with 22-KK and don't think he has very many draws, but I think it's somewhat likely he ck/raises his sets even if it's the old ck/minraise, I wouldn't be suprised to see 44,55 and all the other small pairs that aren't sets that think they're protecting vs AK and draws or something stupid. But yeah I think his range is pocket pair heavy on this flop and he'll have trouble folding so raise flop, if the board is less coordinated like T46 rainbow sure let him keep bombing it but even there you still have to ask yourself if raising is better. Like if he hasn't donked yet or has done it very little over a decent sample then he may just have slow played overpairs and top pair good kicker in his donking range and folding to a reraise would probably not be included in his plan so raising would be better.

I'd think this is standard play here to ship it. But I guess not? I've never seen so many posts asking about how to play AA/KK, I thought those two hands are the easiest to play haha.
