The 3bettor is a 25/19 with 10% 3bet after 614 hands. He 3bet a bad aggressive 44/27 player. I figured it's good to call and get in a pot with them two.
He cbet 88% in 3b pots so it was an easy call. Now on the turn, just a minute ago on another table the same guy cbet 1/2 pot for value in a similar spot against me, so I wondered why he would overshove now, and should I make a call
UTG: €90.28
BTN: €24.76
SB: €39.79
Hero (BB): €71.12
SB posts SB €0.25, Hero posts BB €0.50
Pre Flop: (pot: €0.75) Hero has 9
9
fold, BTN raises to €1.50, SB raises to €4.25, Hero calls €3.75, fold
Flop: (€10.00, 2 players) 5
8
K
SB bets €6.00, Hero calls €6.00
Turn: (€22.00, 2 players) 4
SB bets €29.54 and is all-in, Hero

He could be bluffing, that's always a possibility. But I would be folding here. He probably has AA or AK and is shoving for value or a set possibly. It's kind of a lot to call to bluff catch.

we really put ourself in a sucky situation cold calling a 3b with 99 in this spot.
what do you do if the btn jams pre ?
99 will alwayz atrackts overcards, he Cb a lot so you will have hard time to put him on a range on the flop.
so now you are here on the turn,, with a decision, does he have a K or not, is he going crazy with TT JJ QQ ?
is just bullying me out of the hand ?
anywayz, i'm not sure how you should play this hand optimally.
but with all you said about your reads and whatnot, i would probably just call this out of curiosity...

It looks like he wanted to induce a herocall from you (he has K or better) or he has a turned FD. I assume that if he wanted to bluff he would bet 10-12, which is enough. Therefore I'd fold.

I don't think I would call this 3 bet out of position first to act with 2 players behind.....in the long run it's not profitable to call 3 bets with pocket pairs because you will only make a set 12% of the time.....

Personally I'm sighing ane dqll this off. I'm not happy about it. But he's not doing this with TT-QQ IMO, so it's a K or nothing, maybe AA. I also think he's unlikely to go crazy with his weaker Kings, so this might be KQ and AK, and the rest a lot of bluffs basically. I would assign him a similar him a range, then add a lot of spazz, every flush draw, some A2 and a3 combos too. Plus 10-20% spazz too I think this makes it a +ev call IMO, but I'd have to do the maths to be sure.

If you know he c-bets high in 3 bet pots you should prob look at his turn stats...Thats pretty much where your problem lies...You know he 3 bets lots pre and follows up with a c-bet at a high frequency...so his range is wide on the turn, So whats his turn frequency??....Also he prob jams turn cause he doesnt really have a good river betsize considering stack/pot ratio, and prob can easily jam this turn for value and a good bluff.vs a dry flop callimg range.,You should prob decide pre-flop also why your calling the hand...99 sux for SD value if thats why your calling on a ton of flops and , unless you have a read.
