Played a fair bit vs this guy. He seems fairly straight forward really. very tight 3b 1.5%.

Just wondering if there is anything I could have done better in your opinion?

Should I have bet flop?

I hated the thought of just c/f the turn after picking up some equity - the reason for my small bet.

I considered a call for a long time, but this guy is sooo tight normally....I could already be drawing dead to an NF - I dunno tbh I had no idea what to put him on apart from the nuts obv...not quite sure if he was protecting a straight - actually I dont know if he raises a str8 - more likely a flush?

weird HH history,everyone folds up to you on the SB, you raise and UTG calls ???
i suppose its BB that calls or UTG that limp calls ?

why do you Cb this board, this might be the worse flop to be Cb on...

there is no shame in ck/f if you miss, vs a nit you can try and take it down a lot, but then i would just half pot it because if they have nothing they will fold anywayz, no matter what you bet.

but this flop, this texture, i think im ck/f here like almost always

Also I would not barrel the turn. It is a bad card to barrel despite the extra equity that you are getting. His calling range otf consist of hands like: T9,JT,J9,98,87,QJ and flushdraws so you are in bad shape even with the Kc.

I like check-calling if he bets small ott. Then you have the implied odds to call because he can have sets and worse flush combos in his range where you can get (hero) calls from on the river, and you are not giving up your equity.

God, looking back on this I don't know...it was a while ago.

I think my reasoning for betting was prob 'I have 2 overs & back door FD'. I also have a leak of not c-betting enough, but obv it should be in the correct spots/villains. I prob also took a shot if his fcbet is high (cant remember if it is).

As would still cbet as a bluff he can possibly fold out some 77, 66, 88 but once he called I think these kind of player will not continue without hand that beat you and I´m just giving up hoping to see a SD

you shouldnt focus on folding out 77 66 88, you are playing against his entire range, not just a part of it...
and btw, what do you think most underpairs are doing on this flop ?
right they try to get to showdown as cheaply as possible. if we check and he checks behind we can still bluff out those hands on later streets...
