Hey guys,

Villian was 45/3/3 over 35 hands. Am i ever good on the river given his pretty passive/fishy stats? Does he ever shove worse?

imo he has a lot of Js in hes range you beat. hes AF=3 with a VPIP of 45, so he seems aggressive postflop. i would expect him to raise the turn with a set. if he has a fullhouse it is a cooler imo.

i know were talking about a fish but QJ will usually raise this turn because of draws. There still a lot of weaker J in his range.

Against this guy I would also look at betting bigger on the flop and maybe the turn. Also a bigger bet on the river he can call with all weaker Jacks and any Queen

u should bet like 5 or 6 OTT, i think its hard to make assumptions that he would raise the turn with better hand couse 45/3 are capable of everything, i would still call though couse he can have many worse J in his range + some random bluffs

i tried to figure out what worse hands he would do this with, i guess if he thinks kj was best, or if he thought i bet air on the flop and picked up a queen on the turn that J10 or lower might of been good. But would a fish really Jam 100 bbs on top of my river bet without a full house here?

I don't think this ever something that isn't either 1) the nuts or 2) something that this guy thinks is basically the nuts. More often than not it's QJ hoping you have exactly what you have. So basically you have to ask yourself if he thinks KJ is close enough to the nuts to do something like this. I personally doubt it.
