Why did you check the flop and then bet the turn?imo opinion i think you should have bet the flop
I think that with a guy playing so crazy he has such a wide range. I would call reason being. If he had a King playing so agro he would bet the flop i think and then on turn if he had a six and made trips he wouldnt just call he would reraise you to build the pot so i think he is shoving air i think maybe he will have a pocket pair but i think he is shoving something like A high or maybe you could give him the credit for having a pocket pair in wihich you have him beat cause he would reraise 10's or better

whats up Tooler. I agree. When I did my session review I believe this is a call. At the time I was planning on calling any river bet but with the shove I started second guessing myown reads and folded. I do have a follow up question. What do you do if he 3 bets the flop?

I think you have to think about it mathematically;
The pot on the flop is 2.70
Hero has 8.70
Villain has 11.78
I am not exactly sure on a c-bet size for this but lets say for the sake of example we c-bet 1.90 which is pretty close to 2/3 pot.
If villain then decides to reraise the flop without going AI anything he bets will make your decision either a shove or a fold. Say he reriases to 2.5x your cbet. making it 4.75 to call
8.70 - 1.90 = 6.80 - (4.75 - 1.90) = 3.95
So you will have about 4 dollars left over if the hand played out this way. This is probably very basic and something you could already tell but I hope it helps a little. Hope I did my math right it's gettin a little late for me...

I think if he 3bets you on the flop then i would prob begin to consider a fold

You definitely need to Cbet this flop
Maybe this. Depends on the 79/71. If he's the type that will shovel money into the pot with air if you show weakness a check is fine. If he's the type that is crazy preflop and then turns into a calling station postflop then cbet. It shouldn't take very many hands to determine what he's like postflop.

At 10NL your leveling yourself if your looking out for different types of 79/71, assuming we have even 30-40 hands of him we are cbetting this flop for value due to villians ubber wide range.
As played I would have made it more like $2-$2.20 on the turn.
River we have absoloutley no indication that we are beat, against this guy I dont think its thin value to bet I'd bet $2.50 to try and get paid, if he shoves then we pretty much have to call.
On the river our line of c/b/c looks like weakness, we have under repped our hand and agro lagtard will try to steal the pot a lot on the river. I expect to see villian shoving A-high or a missed FD a lot here. If he slowplayed a K, Set or a Boat then gg him he took a risk with the FD out there and it paid off, but I'd still be happy with my call.
I think his range on the river judging by his play is mostly air.

i would check here a lot to induce bluffs...saying that all loose fish are the same is a mistake. look at this guy, he's super aggro pre, that probably translates to post...if you check you could get him to do all kinds of crazy shit.
that said, if i took this line i'd probably call the river b/c we only really lose to 6x since i'd expect him to bet Kx on the flop

Cant see checking frequently in this spot being a great move, we 3bet pre then c/c or c/r the flop. Looks kinda goofy, if it wasnt a 3bet pot then I like it more, he might spaz figuring he can take control if we check.
Checking lets him have a free pop at the FD, against a guy like this were giving up too good an opertunity to get some value. TBH in these spots I'v started putting in a mix of solid value bets and spaz inducing suck bets (1/2 pot usually). That way even if they dont spaz I still get some value.

I have found that i often get called down on turn and river insanely light when I check the flop as the preflop 3 better, so I like the idea of a flop check.
In general I think people tend to CB way too much because it's often plus EV, but very often not max EV, provided you focus on playing the turn and river well.
