Adjusting to stack sizes
I'm not sure if this belongs here or in general discussion, but here goes. I've been playing 5nl for a while and taken a few shots at 10nl. I feel like I'm definitely ready to move up but I'm not sure how to adjust to the different stack sizes. At 5nl I was buying in full for 200bb, and of course 10nl is only 100bb, and playing agressively, this feels like much more of an investment of my stack whenever I want to do anything. Should I just be tightening up and making a few less 'plays' until I get used to it?
Yeah, pretty much. The shallower the stacks the less value connectors and smaller pocket pairs have. With 100bbs you can still play those profitably in position though so long as you're not investing too much pre-flop
