Do we just shove here?
Is it now too expensive to just call and setmine?
Fold unless you have history with the guy and know that he's got a very wide range here or you've seen him 4-bet almost half his stack and then fold to a 5-bet before, which is pretty unlikely.
Effective stacks are 48.25, so even if you stack him 100% of the time when you flop a set, you still aren't getting anywhere close to 7.5:1 implied. You're putting in 40% of your stack if you call here. Calling is definitely the worst choice.
If you shove he's getting 2.3:1 to call, so he'll call with his entire range. You have no fold equity, so no reason to bluff.
you can't set mine for 40% of the stacks, and when you get 4-bet here if it is the first time with no read its like the easiest fold in the world. actualy without a read i would probably just call preflop and play a pot IP.
One of the reasons i posted this was because i was once told we should treat unknowns as bad players until we have reason to think otherwise. Can we really put him on an overpair with no info on him? If he has overcards i have the odds to get my money in.
Sorry if i'm way off the mark here.

Why are you 3betting? Dont think theres a need for it just flat call play some poker.

bad players are almost always passive, not overaggressive. theyre bad because they fail to get value from anything but big pairs.
If he has Overcards, you would have the odds yes. But 2 things:
-You can never be sure that he does have OCs, at least you shouldn`t think so since his range can be pretty much everything (unknown)
-I personally don`t think that looking for flip spots preflop is a prevorable situation. It is no Tourney..And there are better ways to get money from this players by just making less mistakes then them
- of course, sometimes a flip is allright (u think it is one) - and here it would be nothing less, since i never see him folding (Maybe he is that big a jerk who knows) - but if I flip knowingly it is just with AK (Since there are people who believe aj are the Preflop Nuts) or JJ - without History of course.
Please disagree with me if i am totally wrong ![]()
