sorry cake poker so not too pretty. Villian seemed like a solid reg, not much history apart from me floating his sb opens twice or so. In this hand after barreling the turn to get him of weak pairs, I think his river betting range is "polarised" between missed draws and 56/full house as a lone 3 probably raises earlier with all the draws out. Hands such as 55/88/99 are likely to check behind the river. So how bad is a call here?

This spot sucks because villain also could possibly be value betting you with 88 99 10 10 possibly JJ. I just fold it. Maybe because I am a nit.

Also, if he is a solid reg, I don't think he would be calling two streets with a two overs and flush draw. I would imagine he would raise on the flop with two overs and a flush draw. So his hand really isn't polarized between a missed draw and the nuts.

if he is good enough to vbet on the river with things like 88/99 then this is a fold, as it makes his range not polarized at all.

his relatively small bet (20 into about 50) makes it look exactly like one of those hands to me (or the nuts begging for a call)
