Villain is 29/5/1 over 65 hands. Not much else to go on. Should I be 3 betting flop? I think if I called on the flop, I should have c/r the turn. What line is the best?
Big 3-bet/3-bet shove on the flop.
Don't know how to play the turn with the action which is why I like getting it in on the flop. Being OOP sucks, take that advantage away from your opponent by committing on the flop.
SCS, I think you have huge equity here. The only hands really crushing you are 77 and 33, and even passive villian may raise these some from the button preflop. I don't think its unlikely that villian could be betting here with 99+, A7, 76, 75, or a better flush draw, all of which you have huge equity against. You're only a little less than a coinflip if villian had 56 and flopped straight.
Looking at all this equity and what looks like a fish of a villian, I would be trying to get the money in here. With all the draws out, I would bet turn as that may be your best chance to get some of his money if he is on a draw. And if he's not drawing, well you still have great equity against his range imo.
Edit: whoops, i thought villian bet turn and you were wondering whether to call or raise. I still think you need to get more money in on turn, but it seems like you make it a lot easier for him to get away when you donk out on turn. It looks like reraising the flop is best here.
mdm13 played a hand extremely similar to this hand in his first vid(~5:00 in). He 3-bet/shoved over a 4-bet from the blinds.
As played, I bet big on turn (~11.5) and hope to get it in.
