Yo from Australia!
We're going to cut off registration for new Mt. Robusto volunteers on January 31st. If you'd like to join before that date, please post in this thread
For new volunteers and recent additions: We'll send out the last batch of survey emails to you when we get back to the states (first week in Feb.). Please reply to those ASAP!
Current volunteers: We'll be forming platoons (well, we've got most of them close to ready at this point) in that same timeframe. Expect a platoon assignment (or promotion to sergeant) around the second week of February. Then the fun part begins!
Between now and then, please check this thread out and post any ideas or thoughts you have, we'll be sure to take them into consideration as we guide you up the mountain.

Looks like the survey emails are out.
One question: In the survey emails, you don't ask for DC usernames. Is that deliberate?
I obtained the list of email addresses from a list of DC usernames, so there should be no need to ask again. They're all matched up on our mega-spreadsheet. Occasionally errors pop up, but they're usually easy to figure out and correct. Worst case scenario, your email address is more important than your DC username anyhow since thats how we'll get in contact with you next.

Could you please resend that email? I did not get any email to the mail account tracked here. Now I changed my mail-address registered here at DC (this time its ...@googlemail.com - this should work).
thx

Forgive me for not being patient, but I'd imagine it's a problem I share with some others.
Could you put together a 10 line post with an outline of the current Mount Robusto plan as envisaged in the 133T Deuces Cracked batcave, along with Milestones (maybe survey responses cutoff, platoon assignment, platoon initiation, central missions identification, whatever), projected dates, and the current mission list.

no follow up email here either
Im not sure they have started sending out follow up emails. I believe the only emails that have been sent so far are the original survey questions.
I could be wrong though. (if I am wrong then I didnt get the follow up either).

We have only sent out SURVEY emails. If you got a survey email, please wait patiently, the time for action is soon. If you have not gotten a SURVEY email, then 1) make sure you're checking the right email (the one listed in your DC profile) and 2) let me know via PM and I will accommodate you.

In other words, sit tight and wait. It's been about 3 months since they sent the original call for volunteers. I still only have a vague idea of what this will be.
I'd love to know more but I guess DC staff is busy with other things.

indeed :-) - we are spending a lot of time behind the scenes setting this up to run smoothly, there are A LOT of volunteers.
it's our goal to have everything under way by the middle of next week.
