Theory Videos

I'm trying to work on poker away from the tables, so I decided to watch more theory videos, however I don't know what's the better order of videos to watch.

Currently I'm watching running the streets as it seems a more introductory video to poker theory and I'm loving it, really good videos with rational logic, and despite being only theory it's really fun to watch as there are tons of examples.

I'm thinking about watching The Playbook and Mathematics of NLHE however I don't know which one to watch first (I want to do a progression from more basic to more advanced videos).
Do you think I should watch these series mixed, or finish one before moving to another series?

Do you have more theory videos suggestions for a beginning player (still playing 10NL) ?

Thanks,
Cooin.

It's a guide of the different video content

From the ground up is a really good series, and I would defenetly recommend Mathematics of NLH, (must admit that I haven't finished it myself) but I don't think that anybody will disagree with me that it's a great series.

Thanks for the reply!

I know about this guide however my doubt is more about which order to watch the videos than which ones to see.

I've seen FTGU it's more a basic series on how to play with hand examples and live play and hand reviews it's very good however I'm looking for more math based videos to improve my thought process and to help me work away from the tables thinking about how to make +EV plays.

I'm thinking about watching the following series in this order:

1) running the streets
2) mathematics of NLHE
3) hand readers
4) professor plotkin
5) playbook

What do you think?

Is the order ok? Should I watch more than one series at a time? Do you think I should add or remove any series to this list ?

I haven't really watched any of these series so can't really say anything about it, but i'm sure they're all great.

Glad you like the series!

I'd highly recommend watching mathematics of NLHE, great series. I wouldn't wait till you are done with the RTS series, just watch it. The thing is, the RTS series assumes you are familiar with the concepts that are talked about in the mathematics

Depending on how much you want to go down the mathematics path you may be interested in getting the Mathematics of Poker book by Chen and Ankermann. It's a fairly tough read, but very rewarding.

Send me a PM if you'd like to chat about some poker related mathematics.

"Where the Buffalo Roam" has a good amount of theory in it since we're analyzing primarily hand ranges and not the actual hands.
