A video or series with an in-depth instruction on how best to use PPT for PLO. I know it's been utilized within a ton of videos and it's easy enough to put in some hands and run the equities but seeing how the DC coaches do it day in and day out, during a session review and the like, could prove very valuable. How to incorporate the proper and most appropriate syntax and how to create ranges and interpret the information. Don't forget the graphing function!
Just another way to have more PLO content too!
MORE SS-MS PLO CONTENT PLEASE!

- 2-7 NL Single Draw. Is there anyone competent to do a vid on this game?
- HUSNG fixed limit games. I'm sure the majority of concepts for these can be learned from HU cash fixed limit vids, but I think there are some strategic adjustments necessary due to the SNG format.
I would even take one for the team and be mentored for a vid Wink
if you're talking about mixed games obv JT has his series out right now.
if you're talking about holdem, i have a video that i made as part of my 'Why Do They Call It Who-Who?' series with Taoism where we go over a hu limit holdem sng... my internet is being a little weird, so i cant find the link, but if you go to the Beginner Limit forum and search our series you'll find it. its episode 4.

This...
And maybe 5-Card Draw...
And how about a big ol' grand theory series on all forms of poker. The differences between limit & pot & no-limit structures. The relative value of bluffing or position between stud & draw & community-card games. Something like an outline of the "family tree" of poker. The REALLY BIG picture. Hope that makes sense.
Also, while not poker, it might not hurt to briefly cover other card games like Gin or Spades or hell, even Bullsh*t, so as to cover the differences and similarities between poker games and other card games.
there is a gin video... and some backgammon stuff.

Request for a serie/type of serie that works like this. Its gonna be about a winning player/coach, and how he beats his games, for other to plagiate. It should include ghosting sessions of the instructor with little theorytalk, and afterwards more detailed thought process in a hand replayer. What i need when i move up in stakes, is to watch a winning player play it. When you move up you feel lost and are afraid of overadjusting or underadjusting/getting exploited. You dont need new bluffs in your arsenal and various lines, you need to see somebody play it. For a lot of hands.
Episode 1 introduction and some general talk where he shows his pokertracker/holdemmanager stats, positional stats etc and talk losely about his style, his history with poker (unless covered in previous series) and potentially about general mistakes his opponents has at his stakes and how to make the transitioning. Then he plays 6 tables or more with very little theorytalk and just the Hows, to show all the basic spots that comes up and to get an idea of how he plays. Could also be nl200 Rush Poker since that gives A TON of spots at 4 tables wich means its easier to watch than 6 tables. Episode 2 = More watching him play Episode 3 = He goes through all the most interesting key spots in a hand replayer. Could also include like why he 3betted a hand and a general discussion about 3betting or checkraising the river or whatever. Pretty much the type of takk instructors loves to do and is trying to squeeze in as much of as possible in ghost videos. Episode 4 more ghosting... repeat.
The biggest difference between this and a normal format beeing that the instructor seperates the "What is the thought process behind this line" from the showing us spot in the ghost videos, instead of doing both at the same time. I personally cannot focus on hearing a lot of theory/why AND copying standard spots very well in 1 video.
The reason i think this is a good format is that by watching theoryvids like Unconvetional Wisdom where the authors talks extremely deeply about a hand and give us great ideas about how to think outside the bo, we already have a LOT of information and ideas about how to play better poker. These vids gives us a good foundation to think for ourselves, but while actually playing you need to be able to do decent choises in a fast pace in the most standard spots.
PS nl200 or nl400 would be awesome. But it could also be a serie with different stakes and 2-3 epsiodes for each.

MORE PLO VIDS!!
Ghost vids of a single coach reviewing a video of a session. Ala PLOW Through... series.
It sucks if Michaelsc is taking a break from vids but we have a great if somewhat small group of PLO coaches who can make great videos.
Member review hand review vids are great and have their place. I personally learn best from Ghost style vids/coach reviewing his/her own play vids etc.
A few less dual commentary vids to mix it up would be great too. Dual commentary is great too, has its pros and cons. Mixing it up more I think is the way to go.
We could have a whole series of one coach a week or something. IDK just more PLO please!
thnx

What would be the coolest idea is a HUPlo series, in the same style as "Dogisheadsup" or "pr1nnyraid" from the HUNL.
Where you go through general huplo strategy together with theory videos.
I have never seen a HUPLO serie at any coaching site so DC please be the first!

Would love to see more from Ribbo - I thought his series was one of the all time best here. He was on target with his thoughts and got into the opponents lines also. And how can you not like that british accent. We want more Graham.

I love to see a HU series that deals with OOP play in both single and 3bet pots; Donking vs CR vs CC, etc as Pr1nnyraiding 2 dealt mostly with the IP strategies to counter these moves. The Remix and Unconventional Wisdom series hit on this, but the initiative is backwards HU. Just a thought.

It would be cool to see a coach use Holdem Manager and really break down an opponents game. We obv need big sample size. The coach could use a members database and then they look together at a villain and develop a strategy on how to exploit the shit out of him.

I was just thinking about doing this for a couple regulars I play with frequently and had no idea where to start.

Agreed, this would be really good. Also to take villain's perspective on how he should adjust to the way we are exploiting him (and how we might then re-adjust, etc).

Is there anyone on staff with a Masters or Doctorate in Statistics? Biostats, Econ Stats, or Macro with a touch of Game Theory?
While I'm not on staff here, I have experience in this area. I do research into computational game theory/ teach mathematics at a local university, PM me if you want to discuss stats/game theory as applied to poker.
An advanced mathematics of poker series could potentially be very interesting.
