Besides the players already mentioned, FenderJaguar makes a lot of sense.

What about Moonshine, I think he used to be a coach here but never made any videos and he's not listed anymore

Slowhabit! I've seen him posting on the general forums lately. His book "The Poker Blue Print" was awesome. I haven't read his other stuff however, I can't really afford it atm Grin
But he is incredibly appealing to me. Although, I'm not sure if he is really into the idea of creating videos.

Correct, he just wasn't interested in being part of the team.

Haxton would be great for sure. As for Tri, Nanonoko and such I'd think it's pretty much impossible.

Also, what's with all the love Improva gets? He for sure talks a great game, but is he a winning player?

I also think shrinking the roster would be the way to go. Having a huge stable willed with solid coaches are great but then you also some scrubs at the bottom that ruin the brand. I think CR suffers from this, have many top instructors mixed in with mostly mediocre/losing coaches.

Have you ever actually heard Improva talk poker? Or read any of his posts?

not all of our coaches make videos but they are all a vital part of the team, pitching in with advice in the strategy forums and doing tons of private coaching. they don't ruin the brand, far from it - they help make the community.

Really have to agree with Krantz here. DC wouldn't have such a sick solid forum with great advice being dished out if it wasn't for all these auxiliary coaches.

Krantz, I know there is a strict selection procedure to become a DC coach, but is there also a review (for example on a yearly basis) of the coaches to see if they're still at the top of the game as a player and as a coach?

If not, i think DC should at least consider that. DC is a source of income for the coaches because 1) they are recommended by imo the best poker trainingsite, and 2) they can promote themself as a coach. You could say that DC is giving them an opportunity to be part of this site, so therefore DC maybe should give an incentive to the coaches to stay at the top of the current games as a player and coach by reviewing them. And if they're not then they can't be a DC coach (that doesnt mean they cant be active in the community).

Mayb you're already doing this, its just an idea, im not saying anything about the quality of the coaches at DC at the moment. It s just a way of quality control and keeping the quality as high as possible. I think theclock has a point in that it should be about quality, instead of quantity.
