Hi!
Since today I am besides of my CR/Stox-account also proudly member of DC.
I play NL200 6max.
Following problem:
Generally I do not like to watch older videos b/c of 2 main points:
1.) Some elements might not current anymore.
2.) I think it is important to watch a vid actively.
So I like to ask the producer some questions after watching a vid - that only works if the vid is not too old.
But I have heard that there are a few older series, which everybody just should necessarily to watch b/c they are so valueable.
Which are these series?
Best regards,
Prologion

Unless the coach is no longer on the team, dont let this stop you from asking the questions. Old video thread get bumped and questions do get answered. Coaches also have a unique My DC where it is indicated when a video-threads is bumped.

Ok, so the whole "coaching tree-series" is this popular BelugaWhale-series?
Ok, thank you.
But is it actually this popular series of beluga with some content/topics which also appears in his book "Easy game" - exspecially in Volume1 ?
edit: What you think about Professor plotkin?

hey, one question maybe:
I should post questions to the vid-thread in "forumplace", "Video" like on Cardrunners I guess.
I am only wondering b/c your commentsection is not sepated from the vid-discussionthread.
Why not?
It would make imo more sense for obv. reasons.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. At DC we believe that videos are interactive means of education, not passive means of education, so we encourage everyone to use our interactive flash player which allows you to respond to exact minutes and seconds in the videos, and also allows you to take personal notes on the videos so you can come back to videos at a later date and study concepts more in depth. You can see what questions other people have and click around the timeline on a video, allowing you to absorb a lot more information than you can by simply passively watching a video.
Check out the introduction in the link I posted and give it a shot. It's definitely a great way to supplement your learning experience.

Rob, *I think CR has two separate areas for each video. You can make general comments about the quality and then they have a separate forum thread for direct content questions & answers. Where as here people can say "I liked it!" and "Why did you 4bet shove XX in that spot?" in the same thread. It honestly makes more sense to me to have all discussion relating to a video in the same thread, but again, thats mo.
* Can't say for sure, as although I've had a free CR subscription for quite some time, I've never watched a video, but have perused the forums a bit.

Exactly that`s it!
It is just harder to search and search for some valuable questions and answers when before are 13 answers like "great", "nicge intro"...
but anyways, thank you for the great link, Entity

IMO it seems like way more work to have two separate threads to go to based on what type of comment you make on a video. It's not like the video threads have hundreds of posts in them or anything.
