Have DC changed altered the Dashboard layout tone or is it something weird at my end (Don't know how that would actually happen but w/e) Just logged on to see a kind of visual shout confronting me-the background's all white and I have a big welcome!! back sign which I don't think was there b4.

If this post sounds at all bitchy or unappreciative, trust me, I'm not-just wondering

PS: I haven't changed any settings by accident

Errr, rather. They did indeed change the dashboard. I like it except that I now have two copies of the exact same recommended videos staring at me, instead just the one I'm used to. Some day I'll have to go ahead and watch "The Thin Red Line: Episode 5"

Yep, we just rolled out some updates to the dashboard to allow us to fit some more information on there. We took a ton of suggestions and recommendations (people wanted latest videos and recent threads as well as "my threads") and updated the design to allow it to fit more information and display it in a readable, skimmable fashion.

No plans for customizable backgrounds/colors, but I'll definitely note any feedback that comes back this way.

That's definitely a bug with the display -- you should be seeing recommended videos and latest videos, we're looking into it now.

+1 on black background, it also scrolls reaaaaaaaally slow on my computer FWIW. dunno if anything can be done about it but it might be an issue for other users as well. looks good either way!

The scrolling is a byproduct of using some CSS3 elements which browsers are supporting, but some are a bit slow at rendering right now. I think this should improve in future iterations of the browsers but I'm not 100% certain.

FWIW, to get to the left menu options quicker, just pan-over My DC from any page and the menu listing will appear.
