Audio works fine when streaming.

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the audio on the videos. What application are you using to play the videos locally? Are other mp4 files playing fine with the same app? We have found the most reliable player to be VLC, which is free. http://www.videolan.org

Have to tried to play any other movies not from DC? Do they also lack audio? We haven't had any other reports of audio problems with downloaded videos.

Can you please link us to which video (and which type of video - WMV/MP4) you downloaded? This is going to be some sort of issue with your local setup, but we're happy to look into it.
