i used to be a subscriber to DC for years and then took a long break
just signed up again and want to download a few series i have missed, to watch on my laptop on the road etc

what's the better format? mp4 or wmv?
what's the difference? wmv has a bigger files size = better?

MP4 has a better compression algorithm, so you get better quality at lower filesizes. WMV is provided because some users only use Windows Media Player, which has historically had problems with other file formats and codecs.
